Besides playing games, my favorite hobby is cars. I enjoy them very much and I want to share my love of them with you, so I am proud to present this amazing popular muscle car, the 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 396.

The Chevrolet Chevelle SS 396 was a popular car in its time before they stopped manufacturing them in 1977. This car had a 350 horse power turbo jet 396 V8 engine.  Though a V8 375 horse power cowl induction was available, only a few were sold at the time. The SS 454 LS-6 engine was made in October/November of 1969 and was sold on the market, but those engines were rare. The SS 454 LS-6 cubic inch V8 produced 360 horse power.

This car is a 2-door sports coupe with rear wheel drive and a 4-speed manual transmission. Within this car there is General Motor big block engine V8 with spark ignition, which is an air-fuel mixture in the combustion chamber. This original car runs on gasoline, and includes a carburetor system that mixes air and fuel.  The tank holds up to 20 gallons.

Its change system is naturally aspirated, or in other words simple. The cylinder alignment is V8 with a compression ratio of 10.25:1. This engine goes from 0 to 60 mph in 6.1 sec, 1/4 mile in 13.7 sec at 103 miles per hour. It produces 420 pounds of torque, which is the force that pushes you back when you start driving, with 3200 rotations per minute which means that the crankshaft is turning and the pistons are moving up and down, both at 3200 times per minute. The car originally included Firestone f70’s wide oval rubber tires.

This is a very classic American muscle car, that any car collector would dream of having.
